Handyman Quality Controls & standards.

We love being in this business, but one thing we don't like about the industry in general is its poor reputation.
 
Some statistics claim that more than 50% of tradesmen involved with property services are either "unreliable" or at least "partially dishonest". Sad but true. Not here though!
 
Concerning our membership we do not tolerate cowboys, ever! In fact, we actively encourage the prosecution of deceitful, uninsured or dangerous practitioners.

We aim to facilitate the very best of services and we insist on high standards. All members must therefore meet these minimum requirements:

  • Be courteous and above all reliable.
  • Charge a fair and honest price.
  • Provide a high standard of workmanship.
  • Guarantee to fix errors at no extra cost.
  • Carry liability insurance (we can help with this).
  • Be properly qualified for electrical or gas work.
  • Provide proper paperwork, receipts, invoices etc.

Note to customers, we welcome your feedback. If you have even the slightest suspicion of a rogue trader we definitely want to know about it. We'd also be grateful to add your comments of praise to the many that we receive.
