The Handyman Group is all about home services: home maintenance, home cleaning, home removals, home service professionals and homecare. The primary focus of the business is maintenance: specifically property & lifestyle maintenance, networking these services in a way that is beneficial to both the customer and service provider alike.

In a nutshell, we provide and facilitate services for homes, offices, boats, businesses - anywhere a handy person or home service professional is required. The cleaner works in a home that needs a handyman - and vice versa. That home may also need a carer, butler or a remover. The butler needs to find a cleaner and a handyman. The client of the remover needs a cleaner for the properties moved from and to.. and so on.

Ours is a vibrant, real-life community: our members are comprised of franchisees, licensees & approved contractors all of whom have the opportunity to network within an interactive community. We have more than 100 teams nationwide all of whom operate under strict quality controls and guidelines and are committed to be fully insured, guaranteed, courteous, reliable and other quality controls.

We are a privately owned family Business. Our backgrounds include building maintenance, hospitality services, property sales & management, franchising and nursing. On the web we trade primarily as The Handyman Network, The Cleaning Network and The Carers Network. All are managed by A R Black (t/a The Handyman Group) who is also Chairman of the British Institute of Butlers.  Previously known as Around The House, a trademark which is still very much alive in the property maintenance market, we have recently re-branded in order to reflect the professional services that we offer to the commercial sector and a growing number of complimentary services.
